Spiritual Growth commences at the cradle and continues on throughout life.

Spiritual Growth Continuum

Within the Anglican Parish of Waterloo Bay, encouragement and support is available for all ages.

Children

At the Family Service, Kids for Christ is held in the Ministry Centre, next to the church; a programme designed to meet the spiritual needs of children 3 – 5 (KfC Junior) and primary school age (KfC Senior).

On a Friday afternoon after school two programmes are offered.

4:00pm – 5.30pm Little Heroes; a primary school age programme is provided to enable young people to meet together, bring friends, have fun and games as well as learn about the Christian faith and explore their own spirituality.

6:00pm – 8.00pm House Youth; is for children aged 10 – 15 years old.

mainly music is an outreach of the parish, specifically catering to young children and their parents. It is a combination of music and rhyme, plus morning tea and activities.

Messy Church – 4:00pm to 6:00pm Fourth Saturday in the month during school term. This is a different way of worship for families. h2. Adults

For young adults and above, the Anglican Parish of Waterloo Bay holds an Alpha course as a place to begin to understand what it means to follow Jesus.

The parish is keen to encourage its members to attend a Cursillo weekend. Cursillo is a short course of encouragement run across the Diocese of Brisbane. It is only a weekend away but it can lead to a whole new life.

The Church encourages adults to see themselves as life long learners. So the Church provides a number of different groups to encourage people to learn more about life and faith.

For those who wish to delve deeper into the background of the Christian faith, the parish has available the Education for Ministry (EfM) course. This is a four year course. As the name suggests it is for equipping people for ministry within the Church.
