Dear brothers and sisters
We have all been heartened by the support for those affected by the flood in the form of financial and in-kind donations. In order to facilitate the donations reaching those most in need, the Diocese has commenced a Facebook page – Anglican Brisbane Giving.

The page will provide an opportunity for people and services to connect by posting what they need or what they have to offer, including accommodation. There will be an opportunity to communicate via Facebook messaging, comments on the Wall and as well as an active discussion page. We will also post helpful links, inspiring stories and let people know how they can donate to the Archbishop’s Emergency Relief Fund.
At the moment the page is very simple but we will be adding to it each day.
I invite you to log onto the page and share with your friends and family – especially if you know anyone who is in need, or who can donate or provide assistance. Your comments and sharing are encouraged to help keep this new page ‘alive’ and actively helping where it’s needed most.
Should you be unable to access Facebook and you have requests or offers to be posted email Lisa Rayner or Leila Hutton on giving@anglicanbrisbane.org.au and they will ensure the message is posted.
