From time to time, the men of the parish indulge the Ladies by hosting a meal for them (as they have done so many times for the men).

The meal was held on Saturday 7th November commencing at 7:30am and was a delightful Ladies Breakfast.

We men kept to our promise and upheld the themes:

“Delightful on the lips nothing added to the hips”

“Great on the taste but not on the waist”

It was open to all parish ladies and their female friends and family,
and with in excess of 80 guests, St James’ Hall, Wellington Point was pretty full.

The Guest Speaker was* Dr. Maria Haase* and from the copious feedback received, was very well received.

Costing just $10.00 for an “A-la-carte” menu which included strawberry smoothies, eggs benedict, bacon and egg, cereals, juices, select teas and brewed coffee, the ladies were “spoilt for choice”.

The men were plentiful and performed as an efficient team of cooks, waiters and kitchen staff.

Thank you to all who played any part in what could only be described as a fabulous parish function.
