Parish Camp - Camp Bornhoffen 25-27 Aug 2017
What’s a Parish Family Camp? A Parish Family Camp is a time to get away as a group who are part of God’s family – to spend time together, to relax, laugh, have fun.
It is also a time to experience Christian community, where the love of God is moving in word and action throughout the weekend. This year, our camp will be a time for people to deepen their faith journey and learn about the deep springs of joy God gifts to each of us. You will have the opportunity to explore the scriptures, pray alone or with others, worship as a group, reflect individually or with others. Like other activities, you are free to get into the faith component as much or as little as you wish to.
Bornhoffen is situated near the beautiful Springbrook National Park, close to Natural Arch, one of the amazing sights to see in this part of the world. Watch the sun descend behind the mountains with your favourite drink, snuggle into your warm and cosy bed, then rise to watch the mountains turn gold as the sun rises in the morning to the sound of the birdlife.
All of this is fueled by delicious food and warm company. The area is safe for children, accessible for all and not too far from home. Come along and get to know the people you meet at church in a whole new way!
This year, we are limiting numbers to 45 campers only, so register early to avoid disappointment.
Choose your own adventure
The great thing about our Parish camp is that you can do as much or as little as you please. There are many activities on offer, active and relaxing, but if you simply want to enjoy the peace, read a book or catch up on much needed sleep, you are free to do so.
Who can come?
All members of the parish are welcome to attend. If you have any questions, email Scott and Sarah Leisemann at email@example.com or phone them on 3890 2076.
