Annmaree and her husband Tony moved to the Parish in the early 90’s at the recommendation of Lily Parsons (wife of one of the part-time priests at the time, Dr John Parsons) as they were looking for a parish where there were children in the congregation. They have continued to travel from Wynnum (passing 2 other Anglican churches along the way) to enjoy the encouraging and friendly fellowship at our parish.
Annmaree has especially enjoyed the way the 9 am service has evolved both spiritually and demographically to feel more alive and inclusive of people of all ages but especially uplifted by the children in the congregation.
Over the years Annmaree has been involved in different ministries including youth leadership, social convening, cleaning as well as surveying our lovely grounds from atop the ride-on mower.
Although not a lover of administrative red tape, Annmaree felt God’s push to put her hand up to be on Parish Council to serve the Lord and the parish in a different way. She prays that the spiritual gift of patience will be granted to all those working beside her on the council.
