Graeme Elliott

Graeme Elliott

Graeme was born in Victoria 59 years ago and has been happily married for 33 years. He has three adult children. He started work mowing lawns at age 9 and has had an interesting and varied career including work on the family farm, in a variety of roles for Telstra and now as employment coordinator in the disability industry

He has been worshipping at St Georges Birkdale for about 11 years after worshipping at St James Wellington Point for 10 years.

When asked, Graeme accepted nomination as a Parish Councillor because he thought he would be able to assist the Parish in some way. His current portfolio is that of Liturgy Director where he is well supported by a great bunch of talented and committed people who just make things happen every week and in due season.

Graeme spends most of his spare time with family and two grandchildren.
He enjoys gardening, and the outdoors including travelling anywhere in Australia, anytime, generally by caravan.

In 2001 Graeme had a heart attack. His recovery from that has helped him to appreciate his family, friends and the important things in life. He doesn’t “stress over the small stuff” anymore.
