VISION 2017-2022

Vision​

We will be an invitational, welcoming and caring Church.

All members will be embraced in our Family Groups and Small Groups.

We will faithfully nurture all who come to faith in Jesus Christ so all can join in our mission.

Welcoming​

The Anglican Parish of Waterloo Bay is a community that embraces being welcoming and inclusive of people from every background. Therefore:

We aim to improve the quality and timeliness of the welcoming of current parishioners and new attendees to worship as well as associated

follow up care.

Whoever welcomes you welcomes me, and whoever welcomes me welcomes the one who sent me. (Matthew 10.40)

Worship​

The Anglican Parish of Waterloo Bay is a community that values worshipping God and offering a variety of ways to connect/celebrate together.

Therefore:  We aim to increase the diversity of worship opportunities and thereby strengthen our parishioners' relationship with Jesus.

Worship the Lord with gladness; come before Him with joyful songs (Ps 100:2)

Discipleship​

The Anglican Parish of Waterloo Bay is a place where people's faith is formed to deepen their lived experience of God's love.

Therefore: We aim to develop and strengthen our own relationship with Jesus and make him known by  a range of tailored pathways to guide people to deeper faith.

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19)

Our Mission Action Plan (MAP) was developed over a period in excess of 12 months through the concerted efforts of a planning committee in consultation with the parishioners. The planning methodology used was “Leading Your Church Into Growth Locally”.
